The Maxim
Performed by Victor
Wong
Who cut down a tree and came to understand the sincerity of
truth
Who cared for a nation, cultivated the world’s morale
Whose single sentence or single legend is now my maxim
My father always wants me to memorize poems and the Analects
of Confucius
My mother says every month you need to change and wash your
bedding
My teacher also asks if I’m still listening, quickly take
down this maxim
Who lives so drama is like life, life is like drama
Who can step back and see the vastness of the sea and the
cleanliness of the air
There are a million maxims, but only one self, living believing
in yourself is very beautiful
Listen with me, listen a while to your own heart, people
often forget
Listen with me, listen a while to your own heart, heart
beating and breathing both with confidence
This is my lie, I’m my own maxim, the only maxim
It’s not that he’s not successful, just that he’s not trying
Having tasted bitterness, this bitter life is what gives you
strength
Before eating wash your hands, after eating rinse your mouth
then you’re clean
I like maxims
There are a million maxims, but only one self, living
believing in yourself is very beautiful
