If you are a Mayday fan in the Americas, a Mayday fan from the Americas, or a Mayday fan from anywhere else who likes to chat about the band in English, then this forum is for you.
We absolutely welcome participation from fellow fans around the world – Vietnam, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, China, Australia, Europe (okay, I’ll stop listing locations now, but you get the idea) – as well as North, Central and South America.
This is a response to our poll last month, and we consider it phase one in the larger project of building the MaydayAmericas.net website.
Who is this mysterious “we”? Well, a round of applause is due Joanna, our fearless leader in this project. The idea of a Mayday Americas website was all hers, and she recruited Steve (of MaydayBlue) and myself to assist. Steve has done a marvelous job setting up the forum so it is ready to go. (It is quite empty at the moment though, so please dive right in! It’s one of those unique opportunities to be present at the creation… and to get the user name you’ve always wanted, but which is inevitably already taken at more established sites.) We’ve got a lot of ideas for other content for the rest of the site, but we are always open to suggestions and to help from fellow fans with more advanced tech skills than we currently possess.
