The heavens are so black, the winds so hurried, you held me so closely
The galaxy is silent, because you are significant,

 Rain descends on the vast earth, I peacefully listen, yet have no way to understand why you’re giving up

 It just never occurred to me that the story was already over, you walked out early on, I’m still resolute
